PPE Training EOD 9, EOD 9N, EOD 10, EOD 10E and TAC6E

The aim of the PPE Training Course is to provide selected personnel with the required knowledge and materials to effectively operate supplied equipment in an EOD/IEDD environment, and will cover the following:

        • Overview and capability of all supplied equipment.
        • Safety aspects in the use of all supplied equipment.
        • To inspect and maintain all the supplied equipment for operational usage.
        • To correctly prepare and operate all the supplied equipment.


Bomb Tech Down / Medic

The aim of the Bomb Tech down Medic Training Course is to provide selected personnel with the required knowledge and materials to effectively recover and emergency doff the bomb suit to enable treatment of an injured Bomb Technician in an EOD/IEDD environment, and will cover the following:

        • Blast Effects on the human body.
        • Medic response to an EOD/IEDD mission including Safety aspects.
        • Case study of injuries.
        • To correctly doff the bomb suit in an emergency.
        • Rescue/recovery techniques.


HAL

The aim of the HAL Training Course is to provide selected personnel with the required knowledge and materials to effectively operate supplied equipment in an EOD/IEDD environment, and will cover the following:

        • Overview and capability of all supplied equipment.
        • Safety aspects in the use of all supplied equipment.
        • To inspect and maintain all the supplied equipment for operational usage.
        • To correctly prepare and operate all the supplied equipment.


TM600

The aim of the TM600 Training Course is to provide selected personnel with the required knowledge and materials to effectively operate supplied equipment in an EOD/IEDD environment, and will cover the following:

        • Overview and capability of all supplied equipment.
        • Safety aspects in the use of all supplied equipment.
        • To inspect and maintain all the supplied equipment for operational usage.
        • To correctly prepare and operate all the supplied equipment.
