The LDH Helmet is exceptionally light. It is ideal for use in UXO and mine clearance operations, including prodding, surveying, mine detection, excavation, and vegetation clearance.

The LDH Demining Helmet uses a ventilated revolutionary design as an alternative to traditional military-style helmets. The LDH provides a balanced and comfortable platform to ensure that the visor remains secure in a blast.

Test results are available to show the protective performance of the LDH against simulated blast-type anti-personnel mines of up to 200 g of C4 at a nose-mine distance of 0.80 m (31.5").
