The ACE represents a new level of scalable personal protective equipment for soldiers performing a range of operational scenarios during peacetime and conflict. Its modular design is ideal for soldiers involved in landmine, UXO and booby trap clearance, while maintaining a ballistic protection of NIJ IIIA at areas covered by the vest. The abilitiy to increase the NIJ rating is also possible.

The ACE protective platform starts with a Vest. Soldiers can add Trousers, Sleeves, and either Blast Plates or Ballistic Plates to achieve the levels and areas of protective coverage necessary for the task at hand.
