The TM-500C provides a safer means of working in close proximity to a suspect package or explosive device, through increased standoff distance.

The TM-500C improves operator safety through an increased standoff distance of up to 3m (9.8') by simply connecting successive components to extend the telescopic shaft. In case of detonation, the tip breaks away for increased protection. The TM-500C includes an electronic claw with adjustable orientation and variable claw speed for grasping and releasing a suspect device in a highly controlled manner. The claw is powered by five (5) rechargeable C cell batteries.
