The Hotstic Robotic Manipulator allows technicians to work more safely in close proximity to a suspect package or explosive device.

The Hotstic improves operator safety through an increased standoff distance of up to 3m (9.8') by simply connecting successive components. In case of detonation, the tip breaks away for increased protection. Other primary features of the Hotstic include an electronic claw that opens, close and rotates. The claw offers a manual pitch adjustment and is powered by a rechargeable battery system.
