The Integrated Dismounted Armor System - Tactical (or IDAS™ - Tactical) protects the extremities of Law Enforcement officers against fragmentation and ballistic threats. The IDAS - Tactical is NTOA Member Tested and recommended, with additional testing information available upon request.

The IDAS - Tactical can be deployed as a modular and scalable protection system to supplement a user's current body armor. This allows officers to configure their protection from basic to enhanced levels while in high threat situations.

The RIGIFLEX™ armor plate protection system, developed by Med-Eng for the IDAS, provides base Level II armor with optional upgrade systems for higher threats. The RIGIFLEX™ system comprises fully flexible composite plates that protect against fragments and bullets.
