The SRS 5 Suit is ideally suited to provide chem bio blast protection during low-threat EOD and IEDD operations involving CBRNE agent contaminants. In these situations, it is recommended that users wear the following equipment, as stipulated in their own CBRNE response procedures: the SRS 5 Helmet with VBC-250, the Chemical Protective Undergarment (CPU), an SCBA system, and appropriate chem bio blast-protection boots and gloves.

The lighter weight and flexibility of the SRS 5 Suit make it a highly protective platform for IEDD search and reconnaissance missions, 'number two' personnel and dog handlers.

Stocking Spare Parts brings several benefits to an operational unit:

• When components are worn out, lost or damaged they can be replaced or repaired in the field reducing ‘down time’ and keeping a unit operational.
