The EOD 9A Helmet is the world's first EMC A Helmet for EOD/IEDD operations. Escalating RCIED threats mean that IEDD equipment must operate in increasingly harsh RF environments of ECM. The ability to suppress unwanted signals and to stringently control emissions is paramount and requires the highest standards of electronic design. The EOD 9A Helmet is a major component in dealing successfully with this threat.

The EOD 9A Helmet maintains the blast protection as well as operational capabilities of the EOD 9 Helmet, such as the interchangeable EOD Visor and optional BA Visor.
