The EOD 8 Bomb Suit is providing technicians around the world with an outstanding degree of balanced protection against EOD threats: overpressure, fragmentation, impact and heat. It has been extensively tested against live blasts to fully validate its blast-protection capabilities against an Improvised Explosive Device, or IED.
The EOD 8 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bomb Suit represented several advancements in protection and functionality over any earlier generation EOD bomb suit.

EOD 8 Ensemble Spare Parts
Med-Eng is pleased to offer 1st level (field/user repairable) Spare Parts for the EOD 8 Suit and Helmet Ensemble.
Stocking Spare Parts brings several benefits to an operational unit:
- When components are worn out, lost or damaged they can be replaced or repaired in the field reducing ‘down time’ and keeping a unit operational.
- It also reduces the need to return components to Med-Eng which in turn eliminates shipping and administrative costs.
