Snowsuit Fund

As a world class provider of protective equipment, it is a natural fit for Med-Eng to support the Snowsuit Fund . This organization is dedicated to providing winter clothing for children, many of whom live in the same communities as our employees. That’s why Med-Eng is privileged to be the title sponsor of the Royal Ottawa Golf Club’s Charity Classic and the Snowsuit Fund is this year’s beneficiary of this prestigious event. The employees of Med-Eng will also being showing their powerful team spirit as they participate in additional fund raising activities to help keep kids warm this winter.

The Social Committee has been pleased to help raise funds for the Ottawa Food Bank by organizing a variety of fun events throughout the year.

Take Our Kids To Work Day

Med-Eng is proud to support this national program that offers grade nine students a chance to spend a day at workplaces across Canada.  Each year, students shadow Med-Eng employees in their jobs to learn about the variety of career opportunities that await them.

Employee-Driven Community Sponsorships

Several local charities have benefited from the generosity, time and energy of Med-Eng employees as they participate or compete in various sponsored events such as marathons and baseball tournaments.  The most recent beneficiaries of these efforts include the CHEO Foundation, the Ottawa Heart Institute and the Christmas Exchange.
